Edward Cowdery
Chief Executive

Edward Cowdery has been involved with technology and IT-related industries for over ten years. Edward moved to South Africa where he spent three years working in the financial services industry working as a broker on both government and privately funded projects. On his return to London he moved to a City-based financial communications company where he advised on technology, IT and healthcare flotations, and communications strategies. Before founding Sensitron UK, Edward set up and ran Vichi Communications, a management and communications consultancy.

Nigel Potter
Sales Director

Nigel joined Sensitron in April 2007 having led sales operations within the Healthcare IT arena and automotive sector since 1992, bringing many years of sales and marketing experience. In the Healthcare arena he has worked for McKesson Information Solutions, Torex Health, iSoft and more recently CAS Services, provider of the NHS Direct algorithm software, where he has gained broad knowledge of the IT needs of the primary care, secondary care and specialised international markets. Prior to joining McKesson, Nigel successfully ran a Land Rover dealership for 3 years following a number of years leading sales teams within the Volvo network.


Hugh Robinson, FCA
Finance Director

Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1981, Hugh Robinson has served as Financial Director on a number of UK company boards notably The Stalwart Group (GE Life), Premium Life Assurance Holdings Ltd, Mondial Assistance Ltd., The John Poland Group and The National Solicitors Network. Hugh has considerable expertise in venture capital funded businesses having successfully sold VC-backed businesses and also been funded by VCs on four occasions to acquire or invest in new business opportunities. In addition to coming from a medical family, a degree in microbiology provides him with an informed background to the sector.


Dr. Robert Gladstone
Technology Director

Rob has been involved in project management and IT system integration for over ten years with wide-ranging experience in systems implementation and support across Europe. He has held senior IT management positions with large corporations having worked for ING Barings, Chase Manhattan Bank and Chemical Bank. Before joining Sensitron UK Rob established and ran his own City-based IT consultancy.


Robert Brooke FCA
Non Executive Chairman

Robert was recently appointed as Chairman. He brings to the Board many years of business experience and involvement as a Non Executive Director. He was Chairman of Dunlop Slazenger Group from 2002 to 2004 during a time of major reconstruction, a return to profitability and eventual sale to a major investor. Currently he is Deputy Chairman of The Shakespeare Globe Trust and The Anglo-Netherlands Society. Previously he spent over 36 years with Price Waterhouse/ PricewaterhouseCoopers in both management and client facing roles in the UK and Europe. These included being Global Relationship Partner for a multinational FMCG company for 5 years and a Member of the Executive Board of the European Audit and Business Advisory practice with responsibility for Marketing and Business Development.


Mr. Stephen G E Barker MB BS BSc MS FRCS
Non Executive Director

Steve is a Senior Lecturer in Surgery for the University College London and an Honorary Consultant Vascular Surgeon to University College London Hospitals NHS Trust. He founded the University Hernia Clinic and co-founded Ark Therapeutics. Steve has invented twelve separate patents, SaphenaMedicalTM and SaphenaActiveTM. Most recently he founded Evexar Limited.


Rajiv Jaluria
Non Executive Director

Rajiv Jaluria has more than 28 years of experience in telecommunications, networking, and systems development management. His senior management experience includes Chief Executive and Senior Executive positions for the last ten years. Most recently he was the Chairman, President and CEO of Demand Video Corporation. Rajiv worked at Sprint in its early days to help build the first digital long distance Company. His prior experience also includes Internet work at Bell Labs and a major satellite operation in Asia. Rajiv presented and published more than 50 articles and papers.
