Sensitron Announces careTrends® Interface to Criticare’s VitalCare™ Portable VSM
New Interface to Multi-Parameter Monitor Introduced at HIMSS 2007 Exhibition
SAN MATEO, Calif. – Mar 19, 2007 - Sensitron, Inc., a market leader in international wireless point-of-care solutions, announced that it has completed the careTrends interface to Criticare Systems’s VitalCare™ portable vital signs monitor. This new interface, along with other careTrends interfaces, was proudly shown by Sensitron at its booth—which had its own booth for the first time—at the annual Health Information Management Systems and Society (HIMSS) Conference in New Orleans last month.
“Our hospital customers were asking us for a way to wirelessly transfer the patient data from our portable vital signs monitor into their networks and so, we went to Sensitron,” said Rob Wesley, Director of National Accounts for Criticare Systems, Inc. “We were very pleased that Sensitron tested and integrated our VitalCare™ portable vital signs monitor into careTrends within an 8-week period and were able to show the new interface at the HIMSS show.”
