Impulsesoft Supplies Bluetooth Software Solution To Sensitron, The Leading Edge Telemedicine Provider
Sensitron Licenses Impulsesoft's Bluetooth Software
BLUETOOTH EXPO, Tokyo, Japan - April 17, 2002 -- Impulsesoft a leading short-range wireless solutions provider and Sensitron Inc., a leading developer of knowledge-based wireless monitoring technologies announced that they are working together to develop wireless monitoring systems.
Sensitron offers an end-to-end solution driven by Bluetooth enabled health monitoring devices connected over the network to a knowledge based software engine to provide a cost-effective health monitoring system for use in various health care settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and individual homes. The system also guides the health care provider to a prioritized list of the patients based upon their vital signs status. The clinical information is available to the health care personnel on handheld PDA's at the bedside. Using existing state-of-the-art technology, the Sensitron system helps improve the quality of patient care and lowers the cost, while improving the efficiency of the health care provider.
