St. Joseph Health System Deploys Sensitron’s Critical careTrends™ in ICU—First careTrends Use in Intensive Care Unit
Sensitron Announces Development of Critical careTrends™ Software for the ICU
SAN MATEO, CALIF. – Dec. 11, 2006 – Sensitron, Inc. has deployed its first commercial application of its Critical careTrends solution for St. Joseph Health System. Their first hospital has deployed this new technology for all its 32 ICU beds.
“We selected St. Joseph Health System because of its reputation as a forward-looking organization that embraces new technology to improve patient care,” said Rajiv Jaluria, CEO of Sensitron. Sensitron’s Critical careTrends allows the collection of clinical data at the ICU bedside and sends the data into the Meditech client/server Clinical Information System (CIS).
Critical careTrends is an integral component of Sensitron’s strategy to expand its product offering. It is Sensitron’s second commercial product and is integrated with Philips’ Merlin ICU monitors. The next integration will be with GE’s Solar 8000/9500 ICU monitors in Q1 2007 and will be installed at the second St. Joseph Health System hospital..
